“This France where everything is forbidden, this France of mistrust, is not my France. I want the France of benevolence, the France of trust, the France of dialogue”, declared the candidate, judging the moralizing ecological posture. “It is this denial of the importance of public policies and the extent of public policies to be put in place to fight against global warming that endangers our pleasures”replied Sandrine Rousseau.

During this debate, Fabien Roussel was once again questioned about his famous sentence on French gastronomy which consists, according to him, in “a good wine, a good meat, a good cheese”. The communist candidate reiterated that it was necessary “increase the consumption of meat in France to preserve this gastronomy which is sacred”. “As regards what is good and what is not good, there is still a challenge that our consumption today allows us to continue consuming it later”said Sandrine Rousseau. “It is by denying the impact and importance of climate change that we endanger the vines”illustrated the ecologist.
