“our two souls meeting“
This December 8, 2023, she explains how, 22 years ago, in 2001, she met the host on the set of the Miss France show. With supporting family photos, of couples, but also of their children, Tom and Lou, she remembers: “our two souls who meet never to separate again. I love you“. And added, in story: “My most beautiful day, our meeting, your death separates our bodies, but not our souls.”
An obviously very painful birthday, as Jean-Pierre Pernaut died in March 2022 at the age of 71. Last year, his widow also wrote, on this same sacred day: “twenty-one years ago I met my prince charming… my heart bleeds today“.
Sylvie Tellier was there
That evening, in Mulhouse, in Alsace, it was a certain Sylvie Tellier, who won the title of Miss France 2002. She succeeded Élodie Gossuin. An evening which also brought her luck, since the young woman then joined the Miss France company to become its general director.
