It’s been official for a few weeks, Cindy Fabre is back in the Miss France competition. Indeed, the one who was crowned in 2005 replaces Sylvie Tellier, historical patroness since the departure of Geneviève de Fontenay. A few months before the election of a new beauty queen for France, the young woman explained how this great media return was felt. “It’s a shock. I live it like a second election, but with more maturity and a very clear conscience. Because in 2005, when I wore the crown of Miss France, the emotions were so violent that I had memory loss. If I left this media circle, it was because I needed to have solid professional experience and a full CV. I fed on other things.“, she says to our colleagues from TV Magazine for the program “Le Buzz TV”.
“We always say “Sometime Miss, Always Miss”. I never left this universe. I had suggested to Sylvie Tellier to join the teams in 2007 for a retraining, and I myself held regional delegations. Through the event agency in which I am associated, we even accompanied the municipalities to host the program at the end of the year.“, details the new director who confides that she was very surprised when Alexia Laroche-Joubert called on her to take over from Sylvie Tellier. “I was not expecting it at all. It was a real surprise, a source of pride because it is the accomplishment of what I achieve throughout the year within the event structure. As Miss France 2005, I have a legitimacy that allows me to approach all roles.“, explains the one who will crown the new Miss France on December 17 alongside Jean-Pierre Foucault and Sylvie Tellier who will present the ceremony.
