Giving birth is without doubt one of the most beautiful moments in a woman’s life. However, although with the progress of science and the means we have at our disposal, this is not always without risk. And a candidate for the “Best Pastry Chef” was able to realize this on November 16. This is Roxane who was giving birth for the third time in her life and probably the last after the very complicated situation she had to face as noted by our colleagues from Pure people.
The latter speaking in a Youtube video posted on February 11 to give some details to its subscribers. His ordeal began the day before he gave birth when his mother told him of her concerns about his state of health. On hearing the news, Roxane then decides to go home by car except that in the meantime, the Samu came to take care of “catastrophic way” his mother. At 11 a.m. of the same day, his mother then left for the operating room for an intestinal obstruction. An event that will lead the former reality TV candidate into deep concern and accelerate her delivery.
The fear of his life
“I burst into tears. I told myself that I could not give birth today. […] I remember that I squeezed my legs so that the bag of waters wouldn’t break”, she recalls before indicating that she made the choice to go home to prevent “labour from starting”. Her mother finally gave her news around 5 p.m., reassuring her and letting her know that everything had gone well. Upon receiving the message, she returns to the hospital to watch over her and leaving the place the contractions begin to be felt. It was only later that the midwife told her that she was going to have to give birth and without an epidural…
By piercing her water bag, Roxane sees her contractions come back in a much more painful way. “But very quickly I have a pain that I do not know, hyper violent in the pelvis. […] I feel my baby descend. […] I can’t breathe anymore”she recalls before adding: “Fear took over and it increased my pain tenfold by a thousand. I went from very great suffering to extreme suffering. I saw myself dying”. Finally, with the support of her husband Loïc, she managed to calm down and give birth to her little Eden.
