It won’t be until next August that viewers will be able to discover the amorous adventures of these men and women who have a life on the farm and who are looking for someone capable of adopting their way of life…
In 2008, Julien, a cattle breeder living in Loire-Atlantique, participated in season 3 of this show when he was only 25 years old. This experience then allowed him to meet Floriane, a suitor… to whom he is still married today! Together, the two lovebirds founded a family and became the happy parents of Axel born in 2012 and Lina, born in 2014.
This Monday, May 29, 2023, Julien and Floriane give an exclusive interview to Purepeople, the opportunity for the mother of the family to make surprising secrets about this dark period when Julien almost ended his life. “When I met Julien, he was not in great shape. He wanted to end it because of several factors. He was in need of love, he felt alone. He wanted to stop the farm but couldn’t. not. He told me directly that I was going to have to support him. I even came across a letter where everything was planned. He had decreed that he wanted to get it over with.” reveals Floriane.
“But I was his psychologist. He was off work for a year. It was complicated because he sold his shares, except that it did not repay the bank loans. And obviously who says money in, says taxes. Julien therefore had to accumulate 3 jobs […] In addition, he was on antidepressants, but I made him stop that right away because I thought it was sinking him more than anything else. And with my laughs and my madness, I was his little breath of fresh air.” she continues.

Julien, who is much better today, also spoke on this subject: “There were several factors that made me want to stop. We had a milk crisis. The milk was almost given to the dairy. And I was in society with my brothers and it was not easy to make the difference between family life with them, with whom I got along very well, and work… I wondered how to leave them without hurting them and without putting them in difficulty. At one point, when you cross a rope and look at it with a smile, it’s not good. I said to myself: ‘If I commit suicide, at the level of bank insurance, it’s going to screw them even more.’ Because insurance doesn’t cover anything in the event of suicide or illness. So I imagined having a motorcycle accident to make it work. It’s stupid to think until then so as not to hurt loved ones and not to make them blame.
The father of the family therefore changed his field of activity and now works in a company that deals with landscape decoration materials. “We supply stores, landscapers or individuals. I feel very good there. We are already outdoors so it’s good. And me, who likes to tinker… recruited. I often went there to get supplies and a position became available.” explained Julian.
