Before finding herself alongside Michel Cymes on France 2, the beautiful blonde had a great career in fashion and crossed paths with the fashion icon.
Their collaboration began in the early 90s. Moreover, Adriana Karembeu remembers their first meeting very well. “I came from Eastern Europe, we didn’t know anything, we didn’t know what was going on here. And I was immediately struck by love at first sight: what I saw fascinated me , it was unreal, it went beyond beauty. His creations took us to another planet, we were somewhere else. He had an overflowing imagination, he was an extra-terrestrial and besides, he loved science fiction! I said that, if I had to parade for someone, it would be for him! He made me dream (…) when you are chosen by Thierry Mugler, it goes beyond everything, it’s a huge compliment. With him, you become creatures of dreams, of cinema, of cartoons, you feel more beautiful than beautiful. Without wanting to show it off! (laughs)” she recalled.
Moreover, Thierry Mugler left him very good memories since she described him as being “an adorable boy, very kind and faithful to his models. He was a handsome boy, quite shy, he had an aura around him . It was candy, honey!”. Unfortunately, these last years have not allowed the two personalities to maintain this beautiful relationship to the great dismay of the beautiful Slovak.
“We almost met on one of his shows and there, I had planned to see him for his exhibition. It was very complicated because he was often in New York when I live between Monaco and Marrakech. I regret so much. I was still talking about it yesterday with my husband, it’s madness. I’m upset. It’s an immense sadness. He was a genius, he made us live moments of madness during the parades backstage (…) It is a beautiful person who left us” confided Adriana Karembeu.
