This day when Michel Drucker spent 7h30 on an operating table to have “a brand new heart”!

This Wednesday, February 8, 2023, The Parisian reveals that Michel Drucker was “hospitalized in Île-de-France for a battery of medical tests”. Exams that would be related to his heart operation. It was in 2020 that the PAF manager underwent major surgery after contracting infective endocarditis. Admitted to the hospital, he underwent, on September 26, 2020, a triple coronary bypass to prevent any risk of heart attack. “Fortunately, Michel’s surgery went well,” had entrusted Delphine Ernotte-Cunci, the president of the France Télévisions group, to our colleagues. She also added: “He is very combative and his morale is good. This announcement will be a shock for his public but he wants to reassure everyone”.

Following this operation, the relatives of the facilitator had also broken the silence. The latter had notably described a weakened man. “In three weeks without moving in his bed, he lost weight and lost muscles. “I’m getting better and better”

But I have a brand new heart!”he confided before adding that he already felt ready to “go back to studio Gabriel”. Hospitalized again, he should take a break of several weeks to rest before returning to the small screen.
