It is a terrible date that she will never forget… On January 19, 2022, Gaëlle Pietri had to face the sudden disappearance of Gaspard Ulliel, her former companion and father of her son Orso. The 37-year-old artist succumbed to his injuries after a skiing accident in the Rosière area, in Savoie. In this period of mourning, the young woman decided to publish “Le temps de te dire adieu”, a book in the form of a love letter that she dedicates to the actor and their son.
“I started writing just after Gaspard’s death, notes taken in amazement and anger, which, a few months later, I wanted to transform into a letter to Gaspard and to our son, Orso”. revealed Gaëlle Pietri in the columns of the magazine “ELLE” which appeared on newsstands on April 20. With an open heart, the main interested party returned to the loss of her bearings which turned her upside down at all levels.
“Overnight, I became Orso’s only legal guardian. But as I was ‘the ex’, I had lost a kind of legitimacy, I didn’t know where to place myself in relation to others, to family”, underlined the pretty brunette to our colleagues from the “JDD”. Despite their breakup in 2020 after six years together, Gaspard Ulliel and Gaëlle Pietri remained close. In 2016, the ex-lovebirds concretized their love with the birth of their little Orso.
“By immersing himself in this book when he is older, he will find his father there, the words will allow him to fix an image, he who lost him too soon. confided the author with modesty.
