If she has always been a fan of sport and very competitive – at university, she played hockey and tennis – the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton retains a passion from her years at the University of St Andrews which is very useful to her at within the royal family.
For his family members
Prince William’s wife loves photography, as she explained a few days ago, October 11, 2023, during her visit to Nottingham Trent. “I remember college being one of those great opportunities for me to try new hobbies, and now that’s coming true. I loved trying new things and challenging myself, whether it was in sports, music or art.” she declared.
And added: “I love being outside and being part of all the different sports clubs […] but i also tried the photography club at university which was great and i met some new friends which is something which I continue to love and appreciate now.”
Indeed, photography is a passion for Kate Middleton who took portraits of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to publish them on Instagram on the occasion of their birthdays, or their return to school. But that’s not all, most recently Queen Camilla chose her daughter-in-law to photograph her for the cover of the magazine “Country Life on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.
For a good cause
Aside from the members of the Windsor clan, Kate Middleton also put her passion at the service of a good cause. During the Covid-19 crisis in 2020, she asked Britons to send her photos of their confinement to put them in the book.Hold Still“, which was sold for the benefit of nursing staff.
