While Dance with the stars is preparing to return to our screens after two years of absence, a former star of the program is appearing on the cult TF1 show! On the occasion of her return to the forefront of the musical scene, on February 12, 2024, the singer Wejdene returned to her participation in the dance show while she was the guest of the podcast Beep worn by YouTuber Shera Kerienski… And the least we can say is that the singer doesn’t only have good memories of this experience!
As proof, while the content creator asked her guest of the day the reason why she had disappeared from the radar for almost two years, the 19-year-old artist said that following her elimination in
DALS
in 2021, she had burned out!

“I did DALS, and it was a great experience, but I suffered a lot emotionally, it was very complicated. I was the youngest in the cast and once again, when you’re young, the people disrespect you and the public didn’t necessarily like me”first explained the interpreter of the tube Anissa.
And to add, more transparent than ever: “I was made to pass for a person that I am not. I had a bad experience, I burned out. I cut everything off for 6 months and I did nothing. I wanted more cameras, I didn’t want to express myself, I just wanted to be left alone. However, I’ve experienced worse in my life, but this show had an impact on me. It was hot. You don’t control anything, you don’t validate the edits, they don’t care about your opinion. They do what they want with you, you’re clearly their puppet.”
Despite everything, Wejdene wanted to point out that she had good memories of the atmosphere behind the scenes with the “stars” as well as the jury. A complicity which, according to her, has not been shown enough to viewers…
