An unexpected announcement that upsets the producers of the first channel… For the very first time in a decade, Nikos Aliagas will not be hosting the NRJ Music Awards ceremony this year! The reason ? The flagship host of TF1 was injured during the last primer of the Star Academy, Saturday November 12th.
“After a bad fall I injured myself on Saturday on the Star Academy premium. […] Can’t wait to see you live on Saturday for the Star Ac semi-final! »announced Nikos Aliagas on his Twitter account.
Neither one nor two, another essential TF1 host was contacted urgently to replace Nikos. This is Camille Combal. The former columnist of “Touche pas à mon poste” has indeed agreed to take over.
“Get well Nikos Aliagas!!!! Looking forward to getting back in shape on Saturday night! And thank you for the trust my friend. Stress at 8000 now to live up to it,” the host of “Mask Singer” wrote in the process, addressing Nikos via Twitter.
A last minute replacement that Camille Combal was on the verge of declining according to her words! And for good reason, last Thursday, November 17, the latter indicated to our colleagues from the Parisian that he would certainly not have accepted if Nikos Aliagas had not given him his blessing himself!
“I was asked on Tuesday evening but I was at the theater. So I couldn’t call back until the next day. And first thing in the morning, I contacted Nikos to check on him and discuss all this with him. There, he told me that he himself had proposed my name to take over. Without that, I wouldn’t have done it.”, he explained. This Friday, November 18, 2022, Camille Combal will therefore host the ceremony for the first time!
