A few hours before on franceinfo, Sophie Beau, general manager and co-founder of SOS Méditerranée, revealed that she had “41 requests for the designation of a safe port to the various maritime authorities”, but did not receive “no positive response”. She therefore asks France to assign her a port, not imagining that she refuses.
On Thursday, Corsica announced that it was “ready” to welcome “if necessary” the “Ocean Viking” in one of its ports, by the voice of Gilles Simeoni, the president of the Executive Collective of Corsica.
