The Montreal company’s earnings per share reached 43 cents for the quarter ended December 31, compared to 21 cents for the last three months of 2021.

Revenues stood at 4.6 billion, showing a growth of 17.6% compared to those of 3.8 billion in the same period a year earlier.

Saputo explained that the revenue growth reflected its pricing initiatives in all of its segments, price increases in the United States and rising prices in international cheese and dairy ingredient markets.
