“Things are going well and mostly face-to-face” despite the Covid-19, affirms Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, guest of “8:30 a.m. franceinfo” Saturday January 22, while the partials continue in the universities.

Frédérique Vidal ensures that “equal treatment between students” is respected because, if an exam is done remotely, it is for the whole class and not just a few students. Substitute examinations are also possible if people are sick.

“What is important is to trust the common sense of the educational teams”, says the minister because “it is the educational responsibility of the establishments to organize the exams, they are the ones who vote on the methods of knowledge control, and if things justify it, they can obviously take a distance promotion exam”. She is also pleased to have a protocol “robust” and “no cluster”.

According to her, a third of the exams have already taken place in December and the majority of the partials will be taken at the end of this week.
