Between October 2003 and June 2007, Thierry Ardisson hosted the show 93, Faubourg Saint-Honoré on Paris Première, during which he hosted several celebrities for dinner at his Parisian home. For five seasons, an audience of stars were invited to the table of the man in black of the PAF, who celebrated this Friday, December 15, 2023, the twenty years of this cult show. But interviewed by 20 minutes, Audrey Crespo-Mara’s husband revealed that he had cut certain passages from the editing of this retrospective, and in particular those in which Pierre Palmade appeared. The comedian, guest on the program twice in 2004 then in 2005, became persona non grata following the accident he caused in February 2023 under the influence of narcotics, and who caused the death of an unborn child.

If the man in black insisted on keeping controversial interviews like those given by Tristane Banon or Gabriel Matzneff, the comedian’s appearances were unimaginable to him: “Pierre Palmade, we cut it, and I’m happy about it, because it killed someone. We go as far as possible with fun, we talk about everything with everyone because we are free spirits, but there is a moment when you say: Be careful, the guy killed someone because he took too many drugs. By mutual agreement with Catherine (Schöfer, general director of Paris Première, editor’s note) and Stéphane (Simon, co-producer of 93, Faubourg Saint Honoréeditor’s note), we therefore decided not to keep the sequence.”
He faces up to seven years in prison
If Pierre Palmade remains presumed innocent of the facts with which he is accused, his trial for “unintentional injuries by drivers who have used narcotics who are legally repeat offenders” should take place in the spring of 2024. If the facts of “involuntary homicide” were abandoned on the grounds that the unborn child was not born alive and viable, and did not receive, de facto, legal personality , Pierre Palmade, however, risks up to seven years of imprisonment. Since the stroke of which he suffered on February 25, 2023 while he was placed in pre-trial detention, the former best friend of Michèle Laroque and Muriel Robin has been free, under judicial supervision, and is continuing detoxification at the Pellegrin hospital in Bordeaux, while being placed under house arrest at his family’s home.
