The most beautiful and the most feared. With 183 kilometers and 5,400 vertical meters between Longarone and the Trois Cimes de Lavaredo, the 19th stage of the Giro will allow the leaders of the general classification to explain themselves, Friday, May 26. After remaining passive for the first two weeks, the favorites have started to take risks in recent days, and have the opportunity to create considerable gaps with two days to go in Rome.
The last 130 kilometers through the Dolomites will not count any flat meters, with five ascents which will follow each other without respite. The peloton will pace the passes of Campolongo (4 kilometers at 7%), Valparola (13.3 kilometers at 5.9%), the famous Giau (9.9 km at 9.3%) and Tre Croci (7.9 km at 7, 2%), before ending with the mythical Trois Cimes de Lavaredo.
