This is not a reality TV show or a talent show. However, Kevin has very bad memories of his experience and still has painful after-effects of his filming today. Ten years ago, this young man participated in the filming of an episode of the show Intimate confessions and the repercussions were terrible for him as he confided to Konbini this Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Indeed, during the interview with our colleagues he recalled what was the subject for which the cameras of TF1 went to his house. He had to play a character who thinks he’s a star and who mistreats his cousins. “I always dreamed of doing TV but doing, for example, Secret Story. That was the goal in fact. So, my cousins signed me up, I didn’t really know the show. They took us even though they knew it was all fake”he indicated.

Kevin, traumatized after his appearance in “Intimate Confessions”
Kevin explains that a cameraman, a lady who held a microphone, and another who told him everything he should say, kept him company for three weekends. But his sequences would have been cut and edited according to his statements. “When I saw the report I said to myself ‘but is this a joke?’. Even if I had seen someone like that on TV, I would have made fun of him, it was really abused. They came to my house for three days, they went up for 30 minutes.”he lamented.
But it was really when he left his house that he was able to realize the extent that the sequence had taken on: “I couldn’t walk anymore, I couldn’t take the train anymore. I went from someone I liked to someone I hated.”. In his city, Kevin was also insulted. So much so that he couldn’t leave his house for two months. Worse still, this complicated period led to serious unrest: “I developed a lot of things. I’m afraid of crowds, I developed an eye disease from stress, I’m semi-blind, it really only brought me negative things. I liked it a lot people now I’m afraid of them”.
Kevin goes further and explains that this experience could have led to his suicide. Especially since he had signed a contract to use his image for ten years. In fact, for ten years, the report was broadcast several times and, according to him, only made his situation worse.
