A man and a woman emerged alive from a violent collision with a heavy truck on Saturday morning in Saint-Nazaire-d’Acton, in Montérégie.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. in the ramp leading to the rest area near km 157 of Highway 20.
“The driver was slightly injured while the passenger suffered slightly more serious injuries, but we do not fear for her life,” said Béatrice Dorsainville, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
