“They hit me, they urinated on me”, the terrifying testimony of Adixia, ex-star of “Ch’tis”

This is a new concept that M6 offers on its digital platform. In Uncut, reality TV candidate Adixia interviews reality TV personalities, and looks back with them on their childhood and their journey. This Monday March 4, 2024, Simon Castaldi’s ex-girlfriend received Gary Jarny, former candidate of The Circle on Netflix, popularized in recent months by W9 and its formats Married at all costs And The Fifty. The host and her guest returned together to the violence they faced at school, and which marked them forever.

“I was bullied at school when I was young. It was very hard, I took it badly”thus began Adixia, before giving the floor to Gary, who revealed the heavy abuse he had to face: “College is horrible because they leave you all alone. You have the insults, you have had them in relation to your history, I got them because of who I am (he is homosexual, editor’s note). And we leave you alone” remembers the one who, in the city, is one of the closest friends of the aforementioned ex of the host.

“I blame their parents, who didn’t educate them”

And to continue, evoking the painful childhood he experienced with his parents: “I needed this shield, and I didn’t have it with my parents because life wasn’t… You know, when you’re an open son, life is hard for a worker.” Faced with Adixia, moved and shocked by Gary’s words, the young man gave an edifying testimony on the school harassment that he endured, and on the traumatic ordeals that he had to face, as that of having faced the urine of his attackers : “Do I blame these people? No. I blame their parents, who didn’t educate these kids (…) They urinated on me, they did everything to me. I was hit (…) I got everything, especially when you’re homosexual”.

Both Adixia and Gary had similar escapes. If Gary took refuge in the world of stuffed animalsAdixia had a completely different passion which allowed her to forget the worries of everyday life: “When I came home, I had the best concert of my life in front of my mirror, hoping that there was an audience behind watching me, and that comforted me so much” thus testified the young woman. School bullying, a scourge that has lasted for many decades, even before the age of social mediawhich greatly amplified it.
