Nearly 200 disabled employees
Balls that are created under the Ary brand in the Tarn in Carmaux within the ESAT Caramantis. This Esat (Work Assistance Establishment and Service ) makes it possible to employ nearly 200 disabled employees who make between 500,000 and 600,000 boules each year.
It’s Christmas all year round
Marie-Lise Bouteille runs the assembly workshop where she supervises around fifty disabled employees. She says their pride to work on such a great production. “We say to ourselves that we are the only ones with such a company. And for our workers to know that their achievements go all over the world, it is important.” Boris Karczynski runs the varnishing workshop where the balls are colored. It tells how the staff are guided in the work. “We adapt the positions to the staff. And above all we develop them so that they can then work in an ordinary environment.”
Ary also produces wooden violin bows for the whole world.
