“They froze me”: Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, these cries heard by a neighbor

The course of this night of December 2020 at the Jubillar raises so many questions. On December 13, two years after Delphine’s disappearance, a reconstruction of the facts will take place, at the request of Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers. Enough to clarify what could have happened in this house in Cagnac-les-Mines. According to the couple’s eldest son, Louis, the nurse watched the show with him as usual. France has an unbelievable talent. He went to bed but heard his parents arguing. A neighbor also shared what she remembered of that evening, as can be read in the book by Valentine Arama, journalist from the Point.

In Delphine Jubillar, a disappearance – investigation at the heart of a news item (editions du Rocher), the testimony of a neighbor of Cédric and Delphine is part of a situation that is not usual. She presented herself to the gendarmerie on December 16, after the passage of soldiers who came to her home as part of the neighborhood survey. “This woman says she went out on her terrace around 11 p.m. the day before to smoke a cigarette. She explains that she heard women’s cries. No words, but cries of fear. ‘They froze me,’ she said. According to her, it could only be the cries of an adult woman. She also heard dogs barking. There were several but she can’t say how many“, we read in this book.

What reinforce the thesis according to which Delphine Jubillar did not leave her home of her own free will, unlike that of her husband currently in pre-trial detention for spousal homicide: he assured that she could have left for Spain . One thing is certain, she didn’t take any of her personal belongings – like her phone – or her car and never tried to contact her beloved children, Louis and Elyah. For the prosecution, which also relies on the psychiatric expertise of suspect number 1, the motive of the ideal culprit is clear: he could not overcome the fact of seeing his wife, his great childhood sweetheart, escape him and be ready to start a new life with someone else.

Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
