Like every Sunday, a week of news in images from around the world. A week marked in particular by a big scare in an amusement park.
Americans had come for thrills, and they were not disappointed. Saturday June 15, an attraction in a park in Oregon (United States) suffered a technical failure. It freezes at the worst moment, when the people on board have their heads down. Unlucky visitors find themselves stuck upside down, 30 meters above the ground. No injuries but 30 minutes upside down is a bit long.
Another park, another problem. In the United States again, people have to deal with an invasion of flying insects. It’s a horror movie scenario for panicked teenagers. The entire city is invaded, drowned under a thick carpet of mayflies, a cousin of the dragonfly. Nothing to worry about but they can be picked up with a shovel.
