“They can quickly annoy me”, “All the people affected by this fucking disease…”, invited for the 30th Sidaction, Chimène Badi comes out of her hinges!

To celebrate the thirtieth edition of the Sidaction weekend, France 2 decided, this Saturday, March 25, 2023, to combine the fight against AIDS and events around the 50th anniversary of Disco music. For the occasion, many artists, gathered on the stage of the Dôme de Paris, played the game of the time “disco ball and legs of Eph” during a show intended to collect, as every year, a maximum donations for scientific research. All presented by the two masters of ceremonies chosen by the channel: host Julia Vignali and singer Vincent Niclo. And under the presidency of Line Renaud as well as the creator Jean Paul Gaultier, ambassador of Sidaction.

Our colleagues from TV Magazine went on site during the recording of this special show which will notably bring together Sheila, Bilal Hassani, the group Hyphen Hyphen, M. Pokora, Isabelle Boulay, Jenifer, Amanda Lear, Véronic Dicaire, Chimène Badi, Ottawan, The Weather Girls , Patrick Hernandez, The Gibson Brothers and many others… and collected among them some “hot” testimonials.

“Sif someone is sick with AIDS, I will certainly not run away”
In particular that of Bilal Hassani, who we will discover singing Monday Tuesday And Let me dance of Dalida, who declares: “For me, this is the fifth year at Sidaction and it’s very important because it’s a cause that I support every day. […] What I try to bring is visibility to a slightly younger audience who are often not sufficiently informed about the issues around AIDS and HIV. And then these are beautiful artistic moments and lights that help to convey messages” explains the 23-year-old artist, former juror of Dance with the starsto our colleagues from TVMag. But beyond prevention, some personalities invited to the event want above all to participate in the deconstruction of stereotypes linked to the disease. Like Chimène Badi who does not hide her disgust: “They can quickly annoy me […] I’m not judgmental and if someone is sick with AIDS, I certainly won’t run away. All people with this fucking disease – excuse me to say it – must not hesitate to say it and assume it” affirms the singer who takes up the titles of Edith Piaf in her latest album. A message endorsed by Alexandra Redaniel, Director of Entertainment at FranceTelevisions: “Tonight, everyone must be in front of their TV, everyone must dance and everyone must tell themselves that if we all get together and mobilize, we can changethe world. And I find that music has this sense of togetherness”. Good and beautiful evening to all and don’t forget to dial 110!
