These gestures you see on TV but not on the radio ??✋

Do you watch the morning filmed by France Bleu Besançon and occasionally see Pol and Marion make weird gestures? But what does that mean? The video tutorial with our morning team.

On the radio, if the presenter or the journalist needs to give an instruction to the producer of the program – in this case the technician who is in front of them – they cannot use words since you hear them on the radio and it would be really surprising.

Since you can also watch the morning show of France Bleu Besançon in video on the francebleu.fr website and the France Bleu app, as well as on France 3 Bourgogne Franche-Comté, – morning which is therefore also broadcast on the radio -, you regularly see Pol Laurent or Marion Streicher making rather unusual gestures which have absolutely nothing to do with what they tell us!

These gestures are used to show the director different things: that he must start a sound, stop a broadcast, continue with another sound element, continue to broadcast the sound while the host speaks… Each gesture corresponds to an action !

So that you can understand what we are talking about, watch the little lesson in radio gestures given to you by Pol and Marion, accompanied by Marie-Ange Pinelli.

No need to test at home, it won’t work! ??
