These Dijon people are really not cold in the eyes (or elsewhere)!

As every January 1 for ten years, twenty disguised bathers braved water at 8 degrees and a fog to cut with a knife!

This Saturday at the beginning of the afternoon in Dijon, they threw themselves into the waters of Lake Kir to celebrate in a festive way the transition to the new year.

In 2016 they were only a dozen courageous brave the cold to jump into the water at Lake Kir © Radio France

A swim preceded by a warm-up, for the record the swimmers immersed themselves in music on the Queen (perhaps to give themselves courage?) The youngest were around ten, the oldest 75 years old. Well done to them!
