these brands which commit to donating a significant part of their profits

Every November, it’s impossible to miss Black Friday… And for good reason, this day of promotional offers coming straight from North America extends over several weeks. An international event to which Ning Li, founder of Typology, wanted to give meaning in 2019 by creating the “Black For Good” movement. The goal ? Bring together companies from all sectors of activity, competing or not, French and international, free to apply promotions or not, so that they commit to donating a significant part of their profits or a substantial donation of products to the association of their choice during Black Friday. A charitable event in which several brands are participating in 2023. Public.fr lists several of them below.

For Black For Good, Alvadiem undertakes to donate part of its profits to the Black Bee Conservatory, which ensures the sustainable maintenance of this endangered species. In addition to the 15% reduction offered on its site, €1 from each order will in fact be donated to the association.

For the first time, the responsible fashion brand JULES & JENN, which has been fighting since its creation against the overconsumption caused each year by Black Friday, is joining this Black For Good movement. When one of these pieces is purchased, 30% of its amount is in fact donated to the Mode Estime association, a social reintegration workshop using textile manufacturing and sewing for the purposes of promoting people and professional integration.

From Friday 24 to Monday 27 November inclusive, the dermocosmetics laboratory MÊME is committed to donating all of the profits from its e-shop to CAMI Sport & Cancer: an association fighting against cancer.

From November 24 to 27, 2023, Typology will donate €2 per order to the Wings of the Ocean association, which works to protect the ocean by fighting against litter and in particular plastic pollution, through concrete actions on field.
