The production of “Fort Boyard”, broadcast by France Télévisions, announced on Thursday February 24 that there will be no more tigers on the show from this summer, reports France Bleu La Rochelle.
“We are very concerned and attentive to the well-being of the tigers but also of the other animals present on the Fort”writes the producing company Adventure Line Productions (ALP) in a press release. “We are just as attentive to our viewers and we have seen a change in mentality about the presence of tigers in ‘Fort Boyard’.”
ALP & @Francetele will devote 1 sum allowing the tigers to #Fort Boyard to continue to receive all the necessary care & allow them to have an end of life with respect for the animal dignity that is dear to us. Thanks to this certainty, their withdrawal will take place from 2022. pic.twitter.com/XmJqzMbmxA
