Seattle therefore responded well after losing the previous two games.

Gourde scored the first goal of the game, and also served as an assist. Tolvanen, for his part, finished the game with a goal and two assists, while Eberle scored twice and added an assist.

The stunner Tye Kartye, along with Matty Beniers, completed the scoring for the winners.

The Stars’ response came from Mason Marchment, Joel Kiviranta and especially the essential Joe Pavelski: the 38-year-old veteran hit the target for the eighth time in seven games in this series.

Philipp Grubauer made 20 saves in the win. At the other end of the rink, Jake Oettinger allowed four goals on 18 shots before giving way to Scott Wedgewood, who saved nine pucks.

The seventh and final game of this series will take place Monday evening starting at 8:00 p.m. at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
