A new attack on a teacher shook the news on Wednesday October 9. In Tourcoing (North), a high school teacher was hit by a student after asking her to remove her veil as she left the establishment. On X, the Minister of Education Anne Genetet asked for “firm sanctions”. “We’ve heard it 10, 100, 1,000 times, now we might need to take action”reacts the RN deputy for Oise Philippe Ballard, guest of the “Duel” of “11/13”.
Danielle Simonnet, NFP deputy from Paris from the environmentalist group, judge “unacceptable” that a teacher can be assaulted by a student and that we can “not respecting the law on secularism at school”. “I think there really needs to be a debate on schools in our country”adds the professional National Education psychologist, who deplores that“we are damaging the school”.
