The silent march, without slogans or posters, for peace in the Middle East took place on Sunday November 19 in Paris. The actor and director Charles Berling, guest of 19/20 info, was one of the demonstrators. He regrets a conflict which falls into “extremism (…) which plunges us all into deep disarray”. Charles Berling says it was important for citizens to mobilize “to say: there is another way than violence and hatred“.
A call to politicians
The actor calls on politicians to “find compromises”. According to him, they are the only ones who can temper “death urges“of man.
