Unfortunately, the people who voted for her will not be able to exercise their right to vote a second time.

In the riding of Camille-Laurin, 22% of voters have already voted, and the ballots for Marie-Eve Rancourt will simply be cancelled.

“It was not strong”, comments a resident of Camille-Laurin.

“It’s deplorable, but it’s quite laughable. This party is generally quite virtuous in its comments, and there we find ourselves with a candidate who does what we do not want the others to do. It’s interesting,” adds another citizen interviewed by TVA Nouvelles.

“It’s a shame, it’s a regrettable gesture, and in politics you have to be honest,” adds a lady.

“It’s finish.. […] Poor lady, lawyer aside from that. Tse means! Anyway it’s Plamondon who will pass, I voted for him apart from that!”, declares a man.

“She should have thought about it before, but she had signs taken away from her in our corner. […] I lost my rating… it’s cheap on his part,” commented another citizen.

In addition, Guy Misson, the citizen who denounced the gesture of the QS candidate, made a new Facebook publication explaining that he accepted her apology.

“I wanted to write to you to salute your gesture! First of all, for my part, your apologies are accepted. I had still made the decision to go and file a complaint with the police tomorrow morning, but given your decision to withdraw, I will refrain from doing so. The consequences of your action are largely sufficient without adding others that would be much more harmful for you. I’m sad for you and your loved ones, but you did the right thing! I wish you well in your future projects! Good for you! Guy Misson»
