A Messina in her twenties was presented to a magistrate on Wednesday for an immediate appearance. She is accused of having stolen luxury glasses for more than 5,000 euros from an optician in Metz in November 2021. She was identified by investigators on CCTV images.
The young woman is also suspected in another case, the theft of 270 euros worth of children’s clothes in 2020, in a high-end store. Already at the time, she had been spotted on the store’s surveillance footage. Summoned several times, she never showed up at the police station.
The suspect denies the facts in both cases.
