6-12 year olds will soon be enjoying a well-deserved holiday break and, just to keep them occupied, there are all kinds of proposals on the menu. This is the case of the Théâtre de Quartier, which will present its new creation, “By the window”, at the Théâtre Outremont from December 19 to 23.
Written by Louis-Dominique Lavigne and directed by Lise Gionet, the play tells the story of Camille. “Through the window of her dreams, she sets out on a rather special dreamlike journey, and meets a crowd of colorful characters,” recounted the Théâtre de Quartier.
“A window is the smile of a house. It’s a big keyhole to take the key to the fields. A window is the mouth of a volcano to eat the landscape. A big eye on the outside with its curtains to see what there is to see, ”said Louis-Dominique Lavigne.
Performances take place December 19-23 at 11 a.m. and December 20, 21 and 22 at 10 a.m. Tickets are on sale on the Théâtre Outremont website.
