Jonathan Glazer adapted the novel by Martin Amis The Zone of Interest (Area of interest in French) into a film which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. The work explores the daily and quiet life of a Nazi family near a concentration camp, which nevertheless seems far from the harsh reality of the Holocaust. A difficult film, but necessary. Here is the review while waiting for its release, January 19 in Montreal and January 26 everywhere else in Quebec.
