The zero-interest loan will be once again extended to the entire territory. Prime Minister Michel Barnier announced this measure during his general policy speech.

The extension of the zero-rate loan, the PTZ, a real estate agency manager near Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) is impatiently awaiting it for his clients and his business. “The PTZ will apparently be extended to the entire national territory. It will surely also be extended to individual houses. It was reserved for apartments which was still quite dissuasive for many customers. This is good news. It will allow us to close certain client files”he explains.

A zero interest loan is a free loan with no interest to pay. It allows you to finance up to 50% of your first main residence. It is currently reserved for the purchase of a new apartment in a tense area such as Paris or Lyon and only for old housing in a relaxed area provided that major energy renovation work is carried out. These geographical restrictions could disappear and thus revive the construction sector.
