Clearly visible with its red and yellow tent, the Zavatta-Prein circus must now leave the Allées de l’Oulle in Avignon following a decision by the administrative court of Nîmes. Justice orders the circus to leave by October 28 because it has been installed on this land since October 17 without authorization to occupy the public domain issued by the town hall, and while this land is in a flood zone “during the rainy season“and that there is not”appropriate installation for the evacuation of waste water and waste, despite the presence of animals, personnel and the public to be accommodated“. The court also points out that the Zavatta-Prein circus is not insured to receive an audience of 300 people. If the circus does not leave the premises before October 28, it is liable to a financial penalty of 500 euros per day late.
