Cyprien and Squeezie have formed a duo much appreciated by Internet users. Unfortunately, fans of the two Youtubers will have to mourn this era. This Sunday, February 13, 2022, the one who recently became a dad took stock of his friendship with the videographer who became a rapper.
Indeed, Cyprien confirmed the fears of his subscribers: he is no longer friends with Squeezie. Very saddened, he explained what happened saying: “Two and a half years ago, Lucas took me out of his life. More news, more stuff… It wasn’t my choice. I think he wanted to evolve without having me around him and that’s what he did. I’m not going to lie to you, it was hard to take (…) I have to make up my mind. Today I bounce back, I tell myself that I did not choose it, there is no point in being ashamed of it, everything else is rolling (…) I know that some of you may be be disappointed, but tell yourself that you will never be as disappointed as I am and life goes on”.
From there, many videographers reacted like Internet users to point the finger at the existing hypocrisy in this environment while supporting Cyprien. That said, the Web was waiting for one thing above all: a reaction from Squeezie. It is now done. Indeed, the blond with blue eyes confirmed that he was no longer friends with his former faithful sidekick while remaining evasive about the motivations of his choice.
Thus, we could read in the press release posted on Twitter: “Two years ago, I moved away from Cyprien for reasons that belong to me. Like you and him, I am saddened by the situation. I regret that our private discussions last year were not enough to calm things down. For my part, I would not make it a public affair. Our relationship has been unique and precious, I am and will be forever grateful to him, but sometimes two people evolve differently. I hope you will be able to show yourselves respectively with respect to our respective choices and I wish Cyprien a lot of happiness in his new life as a dad”. That is what is said!
