The young fugitive without a license traveled 60 kilometers with flat tires before being arrested! The scene takes place this weekend, between Côtes-d’Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine. A 17 year old young man was arrested by the gendarmes in Plestan, in the Côtes-d’Armor at the end of a mad race started in Saint-Malo, says a police source.
It all starts on Saturday evening, in the Découverte district: the police are called for a young motorist, driving a large engine. The man is in the middle of a rodeo, at the sight of the flashing lights, he refuses to stop and flees. Two agents, equipped with a “stop-stick“(or DIVA, in French), a plastic bar which allows tires to be punctured, are positioned. Nothing to slow down the motorist, who fails to overthrow one of the officials : he continues on his way, both wheels flat.
A minor well known to the police
The police ended up handing over the four-lane to the gendarmerie services. Tracking is not really difficult, because if the young man drives well above the authorized speed, he is on the rims: like a Tom Thumb, he leaves important traces in his path. The young man, without a license, was arrested on Sunday, around 1 a.m. by the gendarmes in Plestan. Placed in police custody, the teenager is accustomed to the fact: he already has several procedures for refusing to comply to his credit and was presented this Tuesday morning to the judge for children.
