A former teacher from Marne was sentenced on Monday March 28 to three months in prison suspended by the court of Châlons-en-Champagne (Marne) in particular for “death threats” against the President of the Republic, reports France Bleu Champagne-Ardenne. In a video from September 2020, which had been widely shared on social networks, she was seen shouting during a demonstration of “yellow vests” in Paris: “Macron impeachment, Macron decapitation, Macron explosion.”

During her appearance, this woman assured that she was not targeting the man but the function of Emmanuel Macron whom she considers to be a destroyer of the French Republic. According to her, it was not at all a death threat but a historico-political slogan: a reference to the judgment, then to the execution of Louis XVI in 1793.

The “yellow vest” was also prosecuted for “contempt” towards two teachers from Suippes (Marne) whom she had treated of “Vichy collaborators, criminals and dirty officials” in March 2021 when they made their students wear the mask during a physical activity in a park. According to France Bleu Champagne-Ardenne, around twenty people came to support her in front of the courthouse.
