The players of the French XV arrived in Lille (North), where they are due to play their second Rugby World Cup match against Uruguay, Thursday September 14.
Fabien Galthié and his players arrived at Lille Europe station (North), Tuesday September 12. The welcome from the supporters was warm, with a special mention for Antoine Dupont, the star of the French XV. An unforgettable moment for these rugby fans, who were able to see their idols in real life. “Mom, sorry, I skipped school, but I had to. It’s a civic duty, a World Cup is every four years”says a young man.

They will train and use the facilities of the Villeneuve-d’Ascq women’s rugby club, before their second World Cup match scheduled for Thursday, September 14 against Uruguay, at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille.
