The Wu-Tang Clan and Nas tour will stop in Laval in October

Two big names on the hip-hop scene, Wu-Tang Clan and Nas, will be performing at Place Bell in Laval on October 2 for an exceptional concert.

Produced by Live Nation, this show is part of the tour NY State of Mind which includes 32 new shows worldwide in 2023, including six cities in Canada. Besides the Montreal area, the tour will also go to Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver next fall.

The 2023 concerts follow the tour NY State of Mind sold out in 2022, which had been presented in 25 cities, including Los Angeles, in the iconic Hollywood Bowl. The tour was nominated for Hip-Hop Tour of the Year at the recent Pollstar Awards.

The New York group Wu-Tang Clan has been around since the early 1990s. It previously included the late Ol’Dirty Bastard (ODB). Three of his eight albums have been certified platinum. As for Nas, or Nasir Jones, “he has had a career since the early 90s and is recognized as a master of rhyme,” according to the press release from the tour promoter.

Tickets go on sale this Tuesday via American Express Priority Access. General public on-sale is scheduled for this Friday at 9 a.m. online.
