For four years, Matthias Debureaux has traveled the small roads of our countryside in search of stories at the same time funny, instructive, unexpected, which stages a figure of contemporary history and places “his” village at the center of the world.
A page of our recent history has been written in one of these small towns which we too often pass without looking. It was before the Worldly Guide to the Villages of France which brings a new shine to 500 villages unfairly forgotten by traditional tourist routes.
