It was time to celebrate in Abuja for the supporters of Bola Tinubu, winner of the presidential election in Nigeria. According to the Electoral Commission (INEC), the candidate of the ruling party obtained more than 8.8 million votes, or 36%, winning one of the most contested elections in the country’s democratic history. The ballot is contested by the opposition, which denounces fraud.
