Refugees live in Al-Hol camp, administered by the Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces. According to the UN, the camp is home to around 56,000 people, including 10,000 foreigners, including relatives of jihadists, displaced Syrians and Iraqi refugees. In an operation launched on Thursday, Kurdish forces arrested 27 people there linked to the Islamic State armed group, a Kurdish official said on Friday.
