• #TUNISIA Two faithful who were taking part in a pilgrimage to the Ghriba synagogue, on the Tunisian island of Djerba, were killed in an attack led by a gendarme, who also murdered two of his colleagues and injured four, before being beaten down. The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs specified that the two civilian victims were “a 30-year-old Tunisian and a 42-year-old Frenchman”.
• #UKRAINE Agence France-Presse’s video coordinator in Ukraine, Arman Soldin, was killed in a Russian rocket attack in eastern Ukraine, near the besieged town of Bakhmout. Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to him. “With courage, from the first hours of the conflict, he was at the front to establish the facts. To inform us”wrote the French president on Twitter.
