The Olympic soccer tournament of the Paris Games in 2024 will end for the first time with the presentation of the women’s final – rather than the men’s final.
FIFA unveiled the Olympic soccer calendar on Wednesday. He also indicated that there will be no doubleheader in France, while each match will be its own event.
The women’s final will take place on August 10 at the Parc des Princes in Paris. The men’s gold match will have taken place at the same venue the day before.
The joint tournament will get under way on July 24 and will be presented in seven cities in France: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Saint-Étienne.
The France men’s team will take part in the opening match in Marseille, while the women’s team will play their first match on July 25 in Lyon, site of the 2019 Women’s World Cup final.
