The Woman in Me | Britney Spears’ autobiography to be released in the fall

The Woman in Me will be released in bookstores on October 24, the American publishing house Simon & Schuster confirmed on Tuesday.


Not to be confused with the album of the same name, The Woman in Meby Shania Twain, released in 1995…

On the cover of the book, the 41-year-old pop star can be seen in profile, with a pair of silver pants, hands resting on her bare breasts. The Woman in Me is described by the publisher as “a touching story of bravery, which touches on the themes of freedom, notoriety, motherhood, survival, faith and hope”.

Britney Spears, who has been the subject of several documentaries, including Framing Britney Spears, produced by Tea New York Times, will address in detail the delicate question of his guardianship, by his father James Spears, lifted in 2021 after 13 years.

She will return in particular to her testimony during her appearance in June 2021, a real cry from the heart which paved the way for the recovery of her freedom.

Last April, the singer informed her fans on her Instagram account that she was writing a book, and that the experience was proving to be both “restorative and therapeutic”. According to the magazine PeopleSimon & Schuster would have offered a sum of 15 million to the American star in exchange for his secrets.
