He knew how to captivate viewers with his atypical personality and his unrivaled voice. In 2009, Soan became known to the general public by participating in the seventh season of The New Star. An edition that he won hands down, allowing him to fully live his passion. However, the years preceding his participation in tele-hook, as well as those which followed, were not easy for him. At least that’s what he suggested during his appearance on TFXthis Friday September 15, 2023.
Indeed, Soan was invited to testify on the show After glory, the new life of the stars of telecrochet shows. This show, as its name suggests, invited many television artists to come and testify to share where they are today. This was the opportunity for Soan to reveal that he has been suffering from an illness for several years. The winner of The New Star 2009 is indeed suffering from fibromyalgia.

Soan, ill for many years
As reported by our colleagues from Galait is a disease that “causes the appearance of diffuse and chronic muscle pain”. Added to these pains are fatigue and sleep problems, as Inserm explains on its site. Soan revealed that this disease was already present during his participation in The New Staras he explained to our colleagues.
“Actually, I suffered from fibromyalgia, but I didn’t know it yet. As a result, I was constantly tired”, he confided. Later in his testimony, the one who revealed that he had “lived precariously” in the past during his appearance on the show Hello Earthlings hosted by Thierry Ardisson, indicated that the change of pace had had a significant impact on his body. In fact, before participating in the broadcast of M6, Soan earned his living playing in the subway. He then went from underground to the show stage, then to interviews. A frantic pace which did not help to alleviate his illness. “It never stops”he noted.
