The wine estate “Le Clos Laplume” in Monein is headed by a woman!

In Monein “Le Clos Laplume” is managed by Camille Laplume, André’s daughter who himself had embarked on this adventure after a first life. The estate is in organic conversion and is preparing a cuvée of white wine with bubbles, the cuvée ‘La Fabuleuse’, expected for the end of 2022. The “Ambroisie” cuvées La Brise d’Ambroisie (dry) and the Esprit d’Ambroisie (the sweet ) AOP Jurançon are always very popular with connoisseurs of both dry and sweet wines.

The beef sausage from Ferme Davancens is just perfect with the cuvée ‘La Brise D’Ambroisie’ from Clos Laplume

Chantal Salies and Camille Laplume met on the benches of the agricultural school of Montardon and within the rugby team. Both are real challengers, one on the Davancens family farm which has existed since 1882 in Arette with its breeding of Blonde d’Aquitaine which turns to processing with a range of cooked meals and charcuterie, the other estate by soon offering “La Fabuleuse”.
