In doing so, the Wild took a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference first-round series. He also regained the home-ice advantage he lost following his Game 1 loss.

The fourth meeting will take place Sunday afternoon in St. Louis. The two teams will then meet in Minnesota on Tuesday for Game 5.

Like Kaprizov, Joel Erickson Ek had one goal and one assist. Jordan Greenway, Mats Zuccarello and Jonas Brodin scored the other goals for the Wild.

Greenway’s goal came just 39 seconds into the game. Less than two minutes later, Kaprizov doubled the Wild’s lead.

At the other end, Fleury, who is taking part in the playoffs for a 16and year in a row, collected the 92and victory of his career in a playoff game.

Ryan O’Reilly, on a power play, scored the only goal for the Blues. Goalkeeper Ville Husso made 28 saves.

The Blues lost defender Torey Krug to a lower-body injury in the first half. He is the third Blues defenseman to suffer an injury since the start of the series.
